Carney never wanted to become PM. The WEF needed JT out, and they forced him into the role.

Carney is just doing as he is told. The WEF plans are going to destroy Carney reputation. I suspect he does not care. He just wants to get back to his multi million $ salary in the private sector. I hope things get so bad, that we see a new election in fall of 2026.

He is a liar and is after his own agenda for WEF. He needs to be ousted just like Justin time to stop the Liberals from ruining our country. Step up and be vocal now!!! Some people only watch CBC news.

And the snake Carney’s conflict of interests are finally revealed. 103 different companies. No wonder the Elbows Up Regime drug this out until well after the election.

Carny on vacation already? Wow. This is all too familiar. Straight from the Trudeau playbook.

When the Freedom Convoy came to Ottawa, Peter Pan tucked up his skirts and ran away to Lake Harrington until his Strurmbahnfuhrers could come and chase the big, bad truckers away.

So how is Snidely Whiplash going to deal with the Orange Donald? He started OK, by running away - likely to Europe - but now what. Quebec won't allow him to cancel the SMS, and we know that The Donald will not relent on this. Stuck on the horns of a giant dilemma, eh Mark? Well, while in Europe I guess you can always call your boss Klaus at the WEF for new marching orders.

James Turner: Talk about 'rocks and hard places'. The dairy cartel/monopoly/quasi-criminal enterprise Quebec has enjoyed for decades is now in the crosshairs of the Trump administration. And rightly so. "Supply Management" sounds rather innocuous, doesn't it? Anything but: a relative few have enjoyed enormous financial advantages, and the majority of Canadians have paid through the nose for dairy products. Along with the obscene dumping of millions of litres of milk, and stockpiling butter to keep prices artificially high. Marx Carnage, aka Skid Marx, aka Con-Carney...and "Snidely Whiplash" is probably not enjoying his secret vacation right now, given what Trump is planning.

Yes, purposely innocuous phrase. And Carny hasn't been around long enough yet so I still can't quite decide which is more appropriate, 'Snidely Whiplash' or, 'Oil Can Harry'.

apart . Carney is on holidays hiding in a corner in the fetal position somewhere. What a useless government we have.

Well done Trump has a great ability to size people up very quickly , He saw Carney as the clown he is , a weak pathetic liar . Trump may be erratic but he knows where he wants to go and has a plan to get there . First thing Canada has to do is hold a real election with people that have accomplished something in life , not these lifetime Gov hacks that have done nothing in life . As it stands now anyone making a decent wage pays over 60% in taxes overall when you include the taxes on services gas or any other product . I'm retired and I still get taxed on money I put away and invested , it just never ends

"Neither leader mentioned Trump’s concern about supply management." And why is that? If Pierre wants to distinguish himself from Carney, shouldn't he come out against supply management?

Expand full comment
Ben Wilson's avatar

Trumps main concern here is Drugs. Read his letter from the white house. Now that the US-Mexico Boarder is closed, Drug cartels have shifted operations to Canada.

Trumps ask to stop drugs s/b a no brainer. Canadians want drugs to stop too.

I wonder how many votes there are left now in favour of supply management. The number of dairy farmers has declined dramatically from when supply management was introduced and will probably continue to do so. There are a lot more Canadians working in manufacturing whose jobs are threatened because the Orange Man makes supply management his bête noire.

Carney is as awful as Trudeau but Poilievre sounds like he lives in a bubble. Canada should be harder on Poilievre. He’s affable and all but he is lying when he calls Canada a reliable partner. That’s the problem: Trudeau made Canada unreliable and turned it into a security risk for the US. Pierre needs to be stop the bluster, be honest and mend fences.

Tariffs are really the least of Canadians taxpayers worries. I wonder just how many know that taxpayers in Canada pay 1 BILLION dollars each and every week just to pay the interest on the debt which just keeps GROWING. When will the Liberal supporters wake up and actually realize that their decision to support Carney and team is a disaster. Please tell me what interest payments on our debt buys Canadians??

I suspect this is just a game between the two leaders. They are both indebted to each other. Remember, Carney moved Brookfield Asset Mgmt. to the Us shortly after Trump got voted in. Brookfield was moved to NY into a building owned by Trumps son in law and the lease was paid up fully 10 years in advance. This avoided bankruptcy for the real estate tycoon. Then if you remember Trump said he would rather deal with a MAGA guy like Carney. Has to, he bailed out his son in law.

Trump helped Carney get elected. They are two peas in a pod, working together.

Carney’s plan is to destroy Canada. As people have stated, this is a WEF goal. Canada just handed over $4.5 billion to Ukraine Friday, this is on top of $3.5 billion given to Ukraine less than 6 weeks ago! What is going on?

Trump is not the monkey, Carney is the monkey. WEF and NATO are the organ grinders.

NATO is a Terrorist organization promoting WW3.

Canada will fall as a nation, destroyed by debt, immigration, economic failure and individual division.

Carney is Canada’s last Prime Minister.

I agree with the basic gist of your editorial. I fully support Juno news at its mission. I generally agree 💯with the positions you and Candice and others take on what’s going on with the Carney Liberals. I am a card carrying Conservative Party member

BUT!!!!!

Stop saying you like Trump!! You will turn off swing voters and frankly it Turns me off. There are some positions that Trump takes that make sense to me, as I am right of center.

So I hope that is what you mean by liking Trump.

I totally dislike Trump as a human being. I actually despise the man. He is a menace to the American people, definitely a menace to Canada and the rest of the world and especially Greenland.

He is a effing A hole.

I’m not a Liberal but my elbows are up.

Yes Trump comes off as a rude, bull in a china shop. I don’t care for his style, and would never want to work for someone like that. That said, he sure is fighting hard to make America prosperous, and the respected leader again of what’s left of the free world. Meanwhile in Canada, our globalist government are too busy pleasing their masters in Brussels, Beijing, Kyiv, and London and couldn’t give two shits about the average Canadian. Who would you rather working for you?
