In western Canada, a recall effort might work. But in Ottawa’s Nepean riding, Carney got 46,073 votes, while the Conservative candidate, Barbara Bal got 24,017 votes. It’s a residential riding with many government office workers living there. They get regular pay cheques. In my humble opinion, Carney would keep his seat.
