Carney , for the most part , was ignored by Trump and the room in general.

I disagree. To know Carney is to hate him. Trump already loathes Sir Queer Stormtruper.

Carney may be a higher-ranking Chihuahua than Sir Queer and I am not sure about Trump's feellings about the totally absurd King Floppy Ears and Buckingham Palace but I am hoping the 'getting to know you is getting to hate you vibe' will takes its toll on the 'Special Relationship' which, by extension, applies to the Colony known as Canada.

I hardly think Carney was humiliated by that one comment from Trump. He's far too arrogant to feel that particular emotion. Especially after having praises showered upon him by Trump. Trump has to be aware that Carney is a #1 Main Man for the WEF, who he has been quite vocal about condemning. Which leads me to believe this is part of a long term strategy. I found all the unwarranted praise quite sickening actually.

If you live in Western Canada, the CBC's interference with fair election in Nepean must not must not happen in Drumheller. The citizen's of Canada living between Windsor and Quebec City are shielded from the reality that Albertan's paid 244 billion in the last 15 years to Quebec. Quebec paid nothing! The taxes paid by 7% of Albertans to 38% in Quebec stops now! We refuse to be treated as Trudeau's "fringe minority". We are not ostriches with our heads buried in the sand! as the CBC interferes with "fake new" to the naive Liberal supporters Canada wide.

Wow, so much for Carney being Canada's saviour... I wonder how much voter remorse is out there now?

Should be a TON of voter remorse out there now. Carney showed his 'Wimp' side in that meeting with Trump. What a loser - he should have studied a bit harder to bring his best to that meeting with the big man.

When Trump was going on about not removing tarrifs, the snake Carney sat there like a little school boy not saying a word. Is that the " I know how to handle Trump" we are going to see from the snake. God help Canada

Snake is the right word for how Carney showed he was 'up to meeting with Trump - not really at all". Heaven help us Canadians if that is who represents us in speaking with the most powerful leader in the world nowadays. Very sad performance indeed!

I am not a fan of Carney or Trump but to say Carney was humiliated by Trump is just bullshit.

From my point of view Trump was as respectful as he is capable of. Trump is not outwardly respectful at the best of times and in my opinion he showed Carney as much respect as he deserved. We will see how it goes as I don't expect the "respect" to continue.

Herr Carney cosies up with respect referring to him as Mr. President. Mr. President has no respect for Herr Carney referring to him as Mark. It doesn't get much more humiliating than that.

When the lies are exposed and Canada diversifies - Canada will win. You say T is a tough businessman, look at his record of the number of bancracies. He will be doing the same to the USA.

I did start up and owned businesses however, I honoured my commitments and paid my suppliers. Unlike T who doesn't- He has shafted many businesses by not paying for services and products. Correction on the spelling - it is bankruptcies!

Trump blabbed on about himself so much only to use up time so that Mark could not challenge what he was saying.

Not a good idea for Mark to challenge Trump in Trump’s Oval Office in front of the press.

I am NOT a fan of Carney, but I'm also not going to stand for BS claims against him. Trump did NOT humiliate Carney. He humiliated himself. What came out of his mouth made him come across as total ass. Even though Carney is surely not my cup of tea, he did as well as anyone would against such a boorish egotistical bully as anyone could. Just refraining from sinking to Trump's level is worthy of praise. How could any mature human being be impressed with Trump's performance?

Trump humilited himself with his stupid, self-centred and lies... When will Americans wake up to the fact they have an unhinged and evil President. Carney is to be commended for restraining himself. What has to happen now, is laying out the facts on trade.

Too bad Dr Meat did not "restrain himself" on election night during his revolting victory lap (he was parachuted into a minority secured by a press that would have made Pravda blush)!

Dr Meat practically declared war on the USA and Trump. People noticed.
