Former U.S. President Donald Trump has returned to referring to Prime Minister Mark Carney as “governor” and nodding to Canada becoming the 51st state.

Trump notoriously began taunting former prime minister Justin Trudeau by calling him “Governor of the 51st state” while he was still in office in 2024 and through last year.
