Trump administration warns Carney over China ties
Washington is sending a blunt message to Prime Minister Mark Carney: move closer to Beijing, and Canada’s free trade access to the U.S. could be on the line.
The United States is warning Prime Minister Mark Carney that closer trade ties with China could jeopardize Canada’s free trade deal with Washington.
U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told Bloomberg News that Canada’s recent trade engagement with China—particularly involving electric vehicles—has raised concerns in Washington. With the United States–Mexico–Canada trade agreement set for renegotiation later this year, Lutnick suggested Canada could face consequences for drifting toward Beijing.
Prime Minister Carney responded by stressing Canada’s independence, saying the country “thrives because we are Canadian,” while maintaining the importance of the Canada–U.S. partnership.
Joining Marc Patrone to break down the warning is David Krayden, a former Canadian Armed Forces public affairs officer and NATO veteran, who says the message from Washington is clear: Canada cannot afford to antagonize its largest trading partner as USMCA negotiations approach.

Your PM is almost single handedly guaranteeing the USMCA will be dead although he is getting a lot of help from the Premier of Ontario.
And I know there are many of you who knew electing this complete fraud who is also the poster child for a narcissist (and you thought that the last idiot was bad) and a complete megalomaniac was going to be a disaster.
Carney is so very full of himself he seems incapable of knowing when the STFU, especially when playing with the BIG BOYS when this fool does not even deserve a seat at the kids table.

You may have heard that Trump has now officially withdrawn his invitation to Carney (and therefore Canada) to join is Board of Peace, another blow to Canada courtesy of being governed by idiots, fools and morons.
Say what you will about Trump, the Useless Nations needs to be replaced and perhaps Trump hit upon something.. Perhaps, perhaps not but it's worth a try.
As for Carney since one of his credentials is also being right up there with the Useless Nations he probably would have been a very bad addition to Trumps Board in any case.

Canada's useless prime minister having just jumped into bed with the biggest threat to the West ever created has just dealt Canada's workers another blow.
Proving... Two things both of which many knew.
Those being China is nobody's friend and apparently Carney is no friend of Canada.
Since some agreement acceptable to Trump seems to be in the works he has now changed his focus from Greenland (of which Carney again could not help opening up his big mouth.. Gee.. He has a lot in common with Ontario's Premier..) to Carney and therefore Canada.
What could possibly go wrong???
Since Carney appears to think he can play at the big boys table but every time he opens up his yap something else goes wrong for Canada while his supporters in the Elbowzoe crowd cheer him on.
Just wait Canada.
Trump has likely only just begun to deal with Carney (and therefore, by default, Canada) and the winner IS NOT going to be Canada.
Most interesting since Trump was instrumental in getting Carney elected in the first place.
