Poor lieberal, authoritarian babies. Are they afraid some law abiding Canadian gun owner with a squirrel hunting rifle or blunderbuss is going to try to slip into a crowd unnoticed and shoot a lieberal pol? I'm not a gun owner. But I side completely with our law abiding gun owners, who are probably the most closely vetted Canadians on almost all counts, due to their gun ownerships. This in just another attempt to disarm Canadians, make them subserviant, dependant and fearful of their ruling authoritarian government. Ask the police, where the guns are coming from. The Toronto Police have already publicly declaimed turdoh's/soon Carny's ridiculous claims. Election now!

How can the government buy back guns that they did not own in the first place? This is not a "buy back" program, it's a legalized extortion program. Money will be taken (extorted) from the tax payers wallets, money that will be burned up along with all of the guns that the government has confiscated from our law abiding citizens. The only ones who are exempt from this extortion are the unlicenced gun toting criminals.

Lib-tard Rachel Bendayan says: “Let’s be clear, [the farmers have weapons and ...] these are weapons of war, firearms designed specifically to kill as many people as possible in the least amount of time possible.”

Yes, let's be clear. Associate Public Safety Minister - Rachel Bendayan, would have you believe that the Farmers and the sports shooters have militarized themselves and therefore they are a threat to the public at large. Rachel Bendayan and the lot, are either criminals themselves or mentally retarded.

In Canada, we have a Right to Life, Liberty, and the security of the person. With a Right to Life, you have a right to protect your life by any means necessary. Rachel Bendayan is a Lawyer by Trade; our Rights and Freedoms, particularly our Right to Life and security, means absolutely nothing to her; give her the power of Office and she will use that entrusted power against you. Rachel Bendayan is a traitor.

On a side note: Along with other Jewish Liberal Party candidates, Bendayan has been a victim of anti-Semitic attacks during the campaign for the 2021 Canadian federal elections. Were these attacks "anti-semitic" or anti-bullshit?

That is so. This all displays what a lieberal rgime is doing to the people of this country. It is nothing but distruction and ultimate power over us.

The thought of being shot dead or severely injured for your actions, is the greatest crime deterrent that has ever existed. If a criminal knows you have a gun, you will never have to use it; the criminal will go elsewhere. It's human nature.

Show me a politcan or a gun lobbyist who has ever stood before Canadians and said what was previously written in paragraph 1 and 4. Pierre Poilievre, Jagmeet Singh, Justin Trudeau, Mark Carney, and Francois Blanchet; they are all the same. To get tough on crime, will any of these politicians enact the "Castle Doctrine"? No, not one of them. When it comes to freedom and combating crime, they are nothing but empty suits.

The Liberal wants to step by step banning Canadians owning a gun! It is typical tactic of left wing government. They want to total control their citizens.

I know it's a joke because they don't speak for Canadians and outlawing guns law by ppl does nothing, but I am curious, has our system degraded to ruling by decree? Government is shut down? Isn't there some form of counsel and order? Literally how do they decree things without any Democratic function?

We are in a dictatorship my friend, with a few remaining democratic features - mainly the 'feeling' promoted by 'state-owned' media (pretty much all of it) that tyrannies are somewhere else.

This was done for optics only as it will never be implemented and the Liberals will be out of office.

If the liberals get their way only criminals and government will have guns in this country. Well, I guess that's just criminals.

The other side of this Liberal waste of money, is that the gun shops are stuck with inventory they can't sell. How long can they survive as a business, but then again the Liberals obviously see no need for this type of business in their version of Canada.

Just like LNG. There's no business case. Bring on the bird-killing windmills that alter peoples' heart rhythms and non-recyclable solar panels.

I've noticed, that the photo shown in the article looks like it came from turdeau approved pr sources, as there are only (to my beginner's eye) already outlawed handguns and auto/semi auto rifles. I suspect a photo of some of the actual guns just 'outlawed', would give a far different outlook on the silliness of turdeau's/carney's ban.

The Liberals are openly taunting the world with talk of using NUKES...that means war...and now announce their chronic, rabid, non-sensical intent to disarm Canadians? Are they retarded? Or just plain, disingenuous, virtue signaling genocidal maniacs acting out the instructions given them (as unregistered foreign agents) by the WHO/PAHO AND WEF. Is Gates investing in armaments after the failed mRNA "vaccine" mandates? War is lucrative, but the 2030 AGENDA cannot be foisted upon ARMED CANADIANS.

What is the difference, if any, between Trudeau and Zelensky? Both are illegitimate - one has resigned and failed to hold elections, while the other has only failed to hold elections without resigning - yet both keep on making critical decisions which appear to lead to disaster.

Both are or were only nominally married to the opposite sex.

Both deal in arbitrary measures which are the bedrock of tyranny. The lawlessness of the Kiev regime is hidden from mainstream media as is the lawlessness of the regime in Ottawa.

As a gun owner, I was intrigued to learn that another 200 or so guns have been, in effect, 'outlawed' but that the state has not bothered to name them. I have also been 'pardoned' ("amnestied"). until March of 2026 I believe, for owning them though they were legally acquired. Add to that the insult and insanity of a regime 'idea' floated by the DPM as I recall, that the guns that would be seized from me would be sent to the Green T-shirt. I did not buy my guns to kill people but the regime is sending them to others for that explicit purpose.

The only difference I can see is that one wears a suit and the other one does not.

Oh! The topsy-turvy world of 'intersectionalities'.

The firearms prohibition is a political gesture that does nothing to address the Liberal Catch and release legal industry that farms criminals for profit.

This is the type of policy one might expect from a weak, lame duck Government (almost, essentially Dead) as a revenge Policy. Actually I agree with the policy but it is controversial and should be passed only by a Government that has some credibility. Actually it did seem to have gain a bit of "Life" the last several days because of a "common enemy."
