Train derailed in Calgary, cause of the accident under investigation

A freight train was derailed in South Calgary on Monday. The rail line says 13 train cars were involved in the crash, with several of them landing in a body of water.
Rail line officials told Juno News that there have been no indications of leaks, that there is no threat to public safety, and that the cause of the incident is under investigation.
Calgary police announced on Monday that emergency services were on the scene Monday morning and were asking the community to avoid the area along the Canadian Pacific Kansas City line near Sheriff King Street S.W. due to “safety concerns.”
