Toronto police nab final suspect in U.S. Consulate shooting
The same criminals are believed to be involved with the search warrant in North York that resulted in the line‑of‑duty killing of Const. Marc Pinizzotto.
The final suspect in the March shooting at the U.S. Consulate has been arrested, Toronto police say, after being taken into custody at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old faces multiple charges related to national security and firearms offences, including theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, discharging a restricted or prohibited firearm at a place, and attacking the premises of internationally protected persons.
