I listened to a recent podcast with Jason Kenney. Once I got past his right wing extremism rants, and he got into the discussion of Carney, the policies, the talk, the no action, the control of Ottawa he's convinced me Independence is the answer.
Stuck in a Province with terrible supposed "leadership" from a joke who is certainly no leader.
It gets worse by the day not only for you but for Canada and now Ontario has once again shown it has its own rather large enemy from within its own borders.
One farce by the name of Doug Ford aka BOZO FRAUD.
I can't believe some of the issues I continually read about happening in Ontario. Teachers, school boards, municipal governments, and of course the amazing antics and member of "Team Canada", Liberal Premier Ford. But with no leadership from the Elbows Up Regime its a free for all.
Albertans already have it much better than what it sounds like Ontarians are dealing with, but Alberta will get so much stronger through Independence.

I am a multi-generation Canadian.
My great, great, great, great grandparents came here from Europe.
They were given a name change, $25 and a train ticket to Winnipeg.
They never looked back, worked hard, made their's and other's lives better.
My parents moved to Ontario where I was born, longer ago now than I care to think about.
Did the University thing, went to work for Americans in the 1970's and returned proudly to Canada in the 1980's where, I would like to think the theme of attempting to improve my life and those of others continued.
I was not very political although always Conservative in outlook, the only one in my family to have such an outlook although most of my family were apolitical at best others were typical "classic" Liberals, they are rare to non-existent these days..
That remains to this day with respect to my Conservative outlook and frame of mind and frankly has now only become stronger as I look around to Liberals (at least that is what they call themselves) destroying a once wonderful and respected country and Premiers who call themselves Conservative but behave, in many cases, worse than the worst Liberals.
I no longer recognize this country and frankly am not sure much of one exists any longer.
The destruction in reality was slow but went to full speed ahead in 2015 with the election of an absolutely unintelligent, selfish and socialist toad with a liking for weird socks.
That that abomination lasted almost ten years was frustrating but now we have a "Proud European", WEF, GLOBALIST, UN LOYALIST hypocrite for PM.

I am from northern BC, and I openly admit I am jealous of the independence movement in AB. I know many northern BC conservative residents whom feel the same as I do, but I also know many northern BC conservative residents that claim to hate Trump and think AB is wrong for wanting Independence. I say "Go AB Go" and I will support your independence and I strive to move to AB, but I have a family whom do not agree with me and it is hard to leave the beauty of Northern BC. So I guess I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am continually trying to explain to people that this is the right thing to do for freedom and sovereignty. I can only hope many more northern BC residents agree and we can come and join AB, we can offer a direct line to tidewater. Come on Northern BC, get on the train with AB, our future in Canada is bleak at best!

Compared to how Quebec is treated. Quebec not allowing a pipeline yet gladly accept the billions of transfer payments mainly from Alberta is outrageous. Having lived in Quebec, the underground economy (cash system) is out of control which is why family incomes are lower because the cash isn't claimed. I am from northern BC, and I openly admit I am jealous of the independence movement in AB. I know many northern BC conservative residents whom feel the same as I do, but I also know many northern BC conservative residents that claim to hate Trump and think AB is wrong for wanting Independence. I say "Go AB Go" and I will support your independence and I strive to move to AB, but I have a family whom do not agree with me and it is hard to leave the beauty of Northern BC. So I guess I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am continually trying to explain to people that this is the right thing to do for freedom and sovereignty. I can only hope many more northern BC residents agree and we can come and join AB, we can offer a direct line to tidewater. Come on Northern BC, get on the train with AB, our future in Canada is bleak at best!
I hear you. I'm in Langley and there are a lot of people here who feel that way too, but there are also many who still believe the whole "orange man bad" story. I lived in Alberta for half of my life to date and although I left for the milder climate of the lower mainland 11 years ago, I am seriously thinking about moving back.
Hope you have enough money to build your own home. There os a shortage of housing and jobs. Because of all the immigration and inflow from other provinces, in the last 2-3 years.

yes, I am retired and I own a motor home with all the conveniences of a house and I have family in AB with lots of land, so I would not be a hindrance to the AB taxpayer. I have worked hard and smart to provide me and my family with good options. So many Canadians took Canada for granted and now live with possible insolvency and like to blame everyone around them...

It will be a real shame and sad if Alberta spit, however, I think they have justified reasons for their decision. Alberta has been unjustly punished and have been treated unfairly for years. Compared to how Quebec is treated. Quebec not allowing a pipeline yet gladly accept the billions of transfer payments mainly from Alberta is outrageous. Having lived in Quebec, the underground economy (cash system) is out of control which is why family incomes are lower because the cash isn't claimed. If Quebec was located where Newfoundland is located, they would be long gone.
QC also gets about 80% of it's propane, which many use for heating, from AB. I say, shut that down ASAP. Winter is coming.....

My dad, rest his soul, also didn't believe that anything bad was happening. He simply ingested what was said on the mainstream media. When I told him what was actually happening, he didn't believe me. It was frustrating that's for sure. While he's no longer with us, I would hope that if he were, he'd believe me now.
