A retired Ontario teacher who was silenced for speaking out against radical gender ideology in schools has finally ended her four-year legal battle, settling her $1.75 million defamation lawsuit against her former school board.
Carolyn Burjoski announced the settlement this weekend after two court victories in her favour: a successful anti-SLAPP ruling at the Ontario Divisional Court and a subsequent win at the Ontario Court of Appeal. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
