Taxpayer-funded housing for refugee claimants and illegal migrants is expanding as Ottawa insists its multibillion-dollar hotel program is “delivering results,” despite fresh media and Opposition scrutiny.

Obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter, a March 31 memo to Immigration Minister Lena Diab cited media and Opposition scrutiny of asylum costs and claimant volumes, recommending a “responsive approach.”
