Taxpayers funded queer "Creepy Boys" nudity & "blood sacrifice" show
The comedy show by a self-described “queer clown duo” includes acting as twin 13-year-old boys and features “sexy dances,” nudity and a “blood sacrifice."
Canadian taxpayers forked over more than $160,000 in Canadian Heritage grants to fund two grotesque “art” shows, including a theatrical performance featuring actors playing sexualized 13-year-old twin boys doing “sexy dances,” stripping naked, and performing a “blood sacrifice.”
When Conservative MPs asked how any of it represented Canadian culture or heritage, both groups gave the same answer: “It’s Canadian because it was made by Canadians.”
One of the two projects, The Creepy Boys, received an $11,000 grant for a European tour in 2024. The comedy show by a self-described “queer clown duo” follows two strange twin boys on their 13th birthday and features “sexy dances,” party games, a reenactment of their birth, nudity and a “blood sacrifice.”
The other project, The Perfect Bite, received $151,000 from the Heritage Department. The escape-room murder mystery combines a four-course meal with an interactive theatrical experience. Neither project’s creators could explain to Conservatives on the Heritage committee how their productions reflected Canadian culture beyond being written and performed by Canadians.
