At $80 billion a year for 450,000 sitting at home bureaucrats it would seem a 50% reduction in home sitters would save the Canadian taxpayer $40 billion simple math.

Your offer would be graciously excepted, if we could find the right group to carry this operation out.

The guy with the weird sock fetish increased the size of the snivel service (no I did not make a spelling mistake) by around 100,000 ...

Anybody notice any improvement(s) in service anywhere??? ANYBODY???

I have a neighbour down the street who is still waiting for his passport renewal after almost three months. Like me in the past and for him (the last time) that process took at most a couple of weeks.

Other than sitting at home and perhaps doing something (who knows what) what exactly are a lot of these folks doing?

They are certainly not working, serving the public nor improving a more than absolutely abominable level of service.

I wonder now if, in reality a 50% cut would actually be noticed by very many if any.

Can you imagine the 100's of billions of dollars Canadians tax payers could save if there was cuts to all govt institutions across Canada - Municipal, Provincial, Federal, main stream media and Indian politicians and bureaucrats, as well as the lazy under worked, overpaid govt employees in general! and not to mention how are Canadian culture and unity would return if these brainwashed, indoctrinated, no minds had to find work in the private sector. I know I am likely offending many people, I know because I have many friends, family and neighbors who work for govt, and I have yet to meet any self respecting, hardworking, free thinking Canadian employed by govt. People need to remember, it is not only Politicians and bureaucrats tearing Canada apart, it is all who work for the govt...don't believe? Just sit down and try to have a conversation or mature debate with these indoctrinated no minds!

That 17.4 percent reduction could probably be achieved simply by eliminating all federal DEI positions and contractors.

$10B here, $10B there. Pretty soon you are talking about real money. Of course, our money isn't real at all. It's imaginary fiat currency only existing in the minds of the manipulated.
