I started down that road. I would have to find an employer who would wait up to 6 months. The job could not take away from a capable American. I would have to have a sponsor who would guarantee all of my living expenses including health. It was all on me as it should be, not the USA government. No, I did not go. I'm now well into retirement....and sick of our irresponsible government here in what used to be Canada.
