Taxpayer groups call for transparency with Ontario MPPs' spending

Canada’s leading taxpayer advocacy group is calling for better guardrails and more transparency around MPP spending in the wake of numerous allegations of wasteful expenditures.

“Premier Doug Ford needs to make sure his MPPs pay taxpayers back the money and establish real reforms to make sure this doesn’t happen again,” said Noah Jarvis, Ontario director for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
