Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich wants to travel abroad for Rebel News — but the Crown calls it a “blank cheque” to ditch her sentence.

Appearing virtually before an Ottawa judge Wednesday, Lich sought an exemption from travel restrictions imposed as part of her conditional sentence for the 2022 Freedom Convoy.

If approved, she could cover White House press events for Rebel News, join the outlet’s seven-day Caribbean cruise and travel to Arizona to interview comedian Rob Schneider.
