The Supreme Court of Canada has shockingly upheld Newfoundland and Labrador’s controversial COVID-19 travel ban, ruling the province was within its rights to seal its borders against Canadians during the pandemic’s early days.

Canada’s highest court has sided with the government of Newfoundland and Labrador, ruling that the province was within its constitutional rights to block Canadians from entering its borders during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
