Sunwing Airlines is the latest airline to announce a new $50 per-person fuel surcharge on all vacation bookings, citing rising global fuel costs.

The fee applies to flights booked on or after April 14, 2026

The company issued an advisory to travellers so they can adjust their plans accordingly. Bookings completed before April 13 at 11:59 p.m. ET will not be affected, and existing reservations are exempt from the additional fee.
