Former Harper cabinet minister Stockwell Day says Canada must send a clear message that it is not wide open to mass immigration, before the consequences become impossible to reverse
If they are not legally here get them out and bar them from coming back . If they commit a minor crime , they are on the first plane out . No matter what . A serious crime, jail and from the cell to the plane . If you get tough on them, they will leave on their own if they see tough actions . I am fed up with all this lib bullshite .

Trump's performance rating may be falling (33% in the latest poll), based primarily on American sentiment regarding the US economy and the War in Iran. But if it weren't for his following through on his election promise to curb immigration and deport illegal or criminal aliens, he'd probably be history by now, if elected in the first place. Only an idiot can't see how the Liberal immigration agenda has generated problems not only with housing and medical care, but with education, drugs, and the rise in criminal activity. That's why I'd pick anyone with the brain-power and testicular fortitude to resolve our immigration-related problems over a smooth-talking "Elite Globalist" pipsqueak whose priorities are making money and licking foreign boots. The public funds we're wasting to accommodate and subsidize his window-dressing expeditions, unnecessary immigrants, illegal aliens, foreign interference mongers, and criminals would go a long way toward resolving our own social problems and decreasing rather than increasing our national debt.
People have to stand up for their rights. For over a decade, they've been called a racist every time they want to have a common sense discussion about immigration.
I remember during covid, people were destroyed online for mentioning something as simple as, first world countries did not have to to shut down their economy.

The senate needs to be abolished. What a waste of our tax $. Good point Stockwell, the legacy media are auditioning for their dream job. They care very little for telling us the truth or what effect that has on our country. If the cbc or the likes can’t keep the lights on without welfare then so be it.
It seems reasonable to me if the government is protecting a violent serial rapist to remain in Canada ( as well as many other questionable people) they don’t care who comes and stay or what damage across the board they cause…they don’t care about their own country and their people.
This has been an issue for the last ten years at least. And frankly, conservative governments have also let in ridiculous numbers of immigrants into Canada. I actually think it is too late. Newcomers - the better term is "parasites" or "invaders" tend to vote liberal in the Toronto and high federal MP seat regions and when you combine that with the NDP votes, Canada is going to see liberal governments for many years. And they will keep on facilitating the replacement of "old stock Canadians" until we are a small minority. And now there are so many muslims and east indians and other third world people in Canada outbreeding old stock Canadians, the Canada that I grew up and had known and loved is gone.
The new policy of allowing anyone with any distant relationship to Canada to apply for citizenship is just another way for the Liberals to pad their voting base.
