"South Asian" suspect wanted after pre-teen girl sexually assaulted at knife point
The suspect allegedly coaxed the young girl into his car by offering drugs and alcohol.
Police are urgently seeking public assistance after a pre-teen girl was violently sexually assaulted in Winnipeg’s North End in the early hours of Friday morning, a case now being investigated by the Winnipeg Police Service Child Abuse Unit.
According to investigators, the incident began on June 13, 2026, after officers received a report of a serious sexual assault near Manitoba Avenue and Salter Street.
