As it should be.

The MSM.. Regardless of format show pretty much daily they are no longer a valid source of news.. Woke/Progressive/Liberal/Leftist Propaganda and Narraitve yes .. News NO!!!

The CBC, Globe and Toronto (Red) Star not even "Pretty Much" .. For them.. Daily, and by the minute.

When you count on being at the trough in what used to be Canada. Count on a Liberal to do that for you.

CBC aside, the MSM is owned by four families. These families, along with the State funded CBC, control what you will hear and not hear, what you will see and not see, and what you will think and not think. Standing in the way are the independent news sources and the many podcasters that exist today. Technology has made MSM obsolete.

Why are the Politicians so hell bent on censoring/eliminating the alternative medias and podcasters alike? You know the answer. MSM is the "corporate world's" propaganda machine. The corporate (primarily, but not limited to big Pharma and the Bankng Cartel) controls the media, the politcans, and the Courts. The freedom of speech/freedom of the press, is a weapon, a weapon that thou shall not have.

Long ago, Youtube censored me and invited me to appeal their decision. My appeal was this: Susan Wojcicki - go fuck yourself. Juno News wants freedom of the press and yet supports Youtube's/Neal Mohan's censorship, and in turn, supports the corporation's prosperity. For the sake of monitzation, Juno news will bow down to CEO - Neal Mohan.

Perhaps but I learned a long time ago one must fight "the system" from both within and without.

I would also note that there are some videos that Juno does not publish on YouTube and some they do are edited versions with the good stuff taken out because generally YouTube does not like the "good stuff" when it comes from the "wrong people".

I think however that Juno will survive just fine in the long run as the ever distrusted MSM, four family ownership and corporate/political narrative support aside are unlikely to without continued government support which, if we are lucky might change with a much needed change in government at some point.

I appreciate being an alternative to CBC.

Yay for diversity in voices!

However, replacing the CBC is as antidemocratic as it gets!

So our constitution means nothing to you I guess.

This statement would only come from someone immersed in anti-intellectualism and political illiteracy!

Good luck with that!

The constitution is worthless to the commoners, if you we're so stupid you'd know that. Constitution is used only for the lieberals to protect themselves. It's the only time it can be used. Proven over and over again by the same liberal gangsters. The break the constitution regularly. If you can't see that, you are a willfully blind fool.

Who hurt you little buddy?

Definitely some unresolved trauma there!

Your emotional response lacks nuance, philosophical logic.

Democracy involves diversity and voices from many sides including minorities (like you), marginalized (maybe you), progressives, small L liberals, small C conservatives etc.

You're intolerance only indicates that your angry little soul needs healing. I hope for you and anyone near you, that you find enough peace to be logical again.

Patience grasshopper.

Someday you'll appreciate your privilege instead of feeding your oppression kink!

You are a socialist. Milton was a capitalist. CBC is the product of socialism; Juno News is the product of Capitalism. What the fuck does this have to do with the Constitution of Canada? A democracy is - the people rule the government, not the other way around. (communism/socialism) What is your point?

If Juno News doesn't live up to the public's standards, they go bankrupt. If the Government funded CBC doesn't live up to the public's standards, it's just another day; no accountability. Not to mention the the revenue they recieve from big pharma and other major corporations, CBC receives an additional 1.2 + billion dollars from the Canadian taxpayers, and they are laying off staff. What does that tell you, my economically challenged friend?

In the beginning, the CBC was develped for the sole purpose of exposing our Canadian-borne tallents. When local and world news was added to their mandate, they became nothing more than the corporates and the government's own propaganda machine.

"Immersed in Anti-intellect..."? "Political illiteracy"? Are you listening to what you are saying?

Political illiteracy?

Police(y) - Policy(e) - politics - politician - political.

Poli-tical - poli-tican - poli-tics - poli-cy - poli-ce. (poli - Greek: "City State")

By policy you will be policed.

Politcans are policy makers and policy erasers.

Repeal a policy, and you are no longer policed by the State.

A SIMPLE TRUTH

It is way past time legacy media in Canada was held liable for the Lies and plain Bull Shit they they distribute throughout Canada. Some ought to be imprisoned for what hey have done and continue to do. Others should be tried for Treason and Hung if found guilty. And This, fellow Canadians is the SIMPLE truth!

Well, it is positive that both leaders attended and endorse during news, it is equally important that they also do some service to legacy media. They need to show those who still listen to Legacy media their side, those who listen to legacy media get to know these two wonderful leaders rather than let legacy media continue to paint them as the bad guys. Anyone who meets either of these people personally who wonder how Legacy media can paint them as such evil people. There is a Jenuis and confidence when you listen to them. Stark contrast the measured, insincere and at times arrogrant way Carney and his Luberals speak.
