Alberta’s Premier, Danielle Smith is a recognized national leader in our country! Measures being implemented to benefit and safeguard Canadians in Alberta will undoubtedly be adopted across Canada by other forward thinking provincial leaders! When one reads Alberta’s health care stats that “there are 530,438 more healthcare numbers than registered people living in Alberta” it is a stark window into the deep dishonesty of the previous government administrators of our provincial health care…..that WE, THE TAXPAYERS help to fund!! We all need only remember the draconian liberal/NDP induced regulations this NDP led bunch placed upon all Albertans during the big COVID farce!! How fortunate and thankful to now have the wisdom and leadership of Danielle and her government.

🤔 it could be real handy if an Independent Alberta wants to deport non-citizens!

I can't actually believe that so many in Alberta are cheering this move. It will keep us "safe" they say (safe and effective ring a bell anyone). Hmmm, all of our identification in one place, more control to the government, less to the people. But, yes, SO HANDY, I don't have to look for any additional ID to vote (once every 4 years-ish)...phew! Thank you government!!

I don't think that is their intention. I have to produce my health card and my drivers everytime i go to any hospital or surgical clinic. And I'm born here 78 years ago. The problem is, it's costing taxpayers millions of dollars every year because of fake ID users that shouldn't be here. I don't agree to having the driver and med card in one. That means everytime you renew your drivers there goes another card.

Keep up the good work. Remember Carney is a professional con man and nothing else.

Edging ever closer to universal mandatory digital ids? I don’t believe this move necessarily makes law abiding citizens safer nor effectively deter fraudulent behaviour. If and when, as the federal government intends, they add health care records and digital currency banking, game over.

I don't want a canadian citizenship marker. I want an Alberta citizenship marker.
