Singapore doubled down on increasing domestic birth rates this weekend, introducing nearly $70k in direct child benefits per child and increasing child-care time off for parents with three or more children sixfold.

During a National Day Rally address on Sunday, Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced significant increases to child and family benefits for Singapore citizens, vowing that Singapore citizens will never be a minority in their own country.
