IF IT SAVES ONLY ONE LIFE. The police and RCMP have a means of self defense but they arrive after the first responder is injured, dead, or has successfully engaged in self defense.
The Police do not protect you, and the courts have ruled that the police have zero obligation to protect you or any one else.

Actually Lasalle has a police force far better than most with very short response times. Problem is the laws do not allow for any response beyond reaction to a crime in progress or already over with. This lady already had a violent encounter not long before. My problem with it is why immigration has to deal with this at all? Leave your baggage back in India, please do not bring this terrorism with you when you come here. Federal police and government waffle on this problem constantly as well. Canadian society has enough home grown issues without importing religious aspects from far away.

You have to ask what is motivating these judges to adopt this line of thinking. Ever since we have allowed uncontrolled migration, the courts have gone out of their way to protect them, whether they are legal or illegal. By applying the rule of law equally, regardless of skin colour, what percent would be white or colored? The theme in all the incidents mentioned has to do with skin colour. The whites have not committed any crimes, but they end up being the guilty ones. Once, I was proud to be a Canadian, but that image has been tarnished. Now you are being killed for defending Canadian values.
