We went to the University of Toronto to ask young Canadians how they feel about former Conservative MP Chris d’Entremont’s shocking decision to abandon his voters and join the Liberal government.

Incredibly, they draw a comparison between d'Entremont and Winston Churchill as justification. Winston Churchill would not spit on this version of a Liberal government - he would likely have most of them in prison. This version is actively destroying our country, turning it into a Balkanized series of soon-to-be Islamic states.
To compare d"Entremont and Churchill's crossing the floor is beneath contempt and unworthy of anyone identifying themselves as a journalist - regardless of how much of your money is coming from the Liberals.
Right, but the money will come in the form of a higher salary with higher pension benefits when he's appointed: Speaker of the House , Deputy PM, or to the Senate or a new Cabinet position, Master of Snakes and Lizards.

From an ethical standpoint his, or anyone's, resignation should have triggered a by-election in his riding and he should have to fight for the win as a Liberal. From a purely selfish, personal perspective, I would be ecstatic if a bunch of liberal MPs decided to cross the floor to the Conservatives at this point... Just saying!
