Alberta’s legislature unanimously backed Premier Danielle Smith’s energy memorandum of understanding with Ottawa. A similar motion presented in Parliament failed, fuelling claims that the deal between Ottawa and Alberta is meaningless.
The UCP and Alberta NDP traded blows in duelling year-end press conferences as the fall sitting wrapped up at the legislature.
And Alberta once again led the country in job growth as the province’s unemployment rate fell.

Alberta needs to leave the sinking ship of Kanada. While the Liberals do nothing but rearrange the deck chairs on the sinking ship when it goes down, and it will, Alberta needs to get their independance ASAP. As soon as the successful referendum is held the US in addition to many other countries will recognize Alberta as a sovereign state.....Time is of the essence and Alberta needs to move quick before the comming certain complete collapse of Kanada.....
I think time is running out Alberta.
Realistically I have no idea what the chances are of this referendum succeeding and even if it does what might actually happen after that to get you the hell out of the failing country previously known as Canada but you had better get a move on.
