The Senate released a report to address the accelerating rise of antisemitism and antisemitic incidents in Canada. It includes 20 recommendations ranging from banning protesters from obstructing access to public spaces, banning public symbols of hate, expediting bans on terrorist groups and implementing anti-hate measures online.

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs released a statement on Tuesday welcoming “key recommendations” from the report and calling for “immediate action” from the federal government to address the worsening trend of anti-Jewish hate incidents in Canada.
