Second German company shows interest in buying Canadian LNG

The letter of interest outlines calls for a steady supply of LNG to facilitate its core markets in Germany, the United Kingdom, Sweden and the Netherlands.

Another German-based company has signed a letter of intent to procure liquefied natural gas from the Ksi Lisims project planned for British Columbia’s northern coast.

Uniper, a utility company based in Duesseldorf, Germany, has expressed interest in purchasing two million tonnes of LNG annually, with deliveries beginning as early as 2032.
