The Salvation Army has launched its 2025 Christmas Kettle Campaign to mitigate the increasing cost of living, asking those who can to “give generously this holiday season.”
I recently ditched a local charity (Siloam, Winnipeg) because it has gone full-on native focusses and T&R. 17 years of monthly donations stopped. I donate to help someone because they're poor, not because they're any particular race.
Went looking for another place to help people out, and came up with Salvation Army. But before jumping in I checked their website. Sure enough, they're all over the T$R report and its Call to Action 43, directing houses of faith to jump on board with UNDRIP. So they'll get some money this season, but not a monthly donation.
Are there any good helping charities left who just help people without indigenous focus.
