Rustad calls out leadership candidates dodging Juno News debate
Former BC Conservative Leader John Rustad has joined a chorus of critics online calling out party leadership hopefuls for skipping the Juno News leadership debate.
John Rustad, the former leader of the Conservative Party of BC, has added his voice to a growing number of politicians and conservatives online, lambasting high-profile leadership candidates for skipping out on the first live leadership debate.
After leadership hopefuls MLA Peter Milobar and Caroline Elliott signalled they would not attend the first BC Conservative Leadership Debate, hosted by Juno News and moderated by Conservative MP Aaron Gunn and author Lindsay Shepherd, Rustad blasted the two no-shows on X.
