PROPERTY PANIC — Homeowners fear losing land after court ruling
Marc Patrone breaks down the uproar in Richmond, B.C., where residents fear losing homes after a court granted Aboriginal title — plus new fallout from the failed Carney–Trump trade talks.
Frustrated residents in Richmond, B.C., packed a public meeting last night, angry over a court ruling that granted Aboriginal title to a stretch of land along the Fraser River. The decision, which handed title to the Cowichan First Nation, is under appeal — but homeowners say property values have already plunged and some can’t renew their mortgages.
Meanwhile, there’s little sign of progress at the Asia-Pacific Economic Summit in South Korea, where Prime Minister Mark Carney and President Donald Trump attended the same dinner but kept their distance. On Truth Social, Trump wrote: “We didn’t come to South Korea to see Canada.”
Independent journalist Wyatt Claypool joined Straight Up to break down the optics of Carney’s trip, saying the Prime Minister’s time in Asia has produced “photo ops, not progress.” Wyatt says Carney’s government is offering vague commitments while the U.S. signs concrete agreements elsewhere, leaving Canada on the sidelines.

LOL so our fabulous mainstream media report that Carney has had good conversation with Trump Korean supper! When will they (Liberals, CBC,CTV and Global) finally report something factual!!!
All we have to do is file a class action lawsuit against the woke justin trudeau government and him personally, as well as the woke bc government and david ebby personally. And list all the whacked out woke judges that decided this and sue them for coming up with this crazy idea! Also, the natives need to decide, give back the billions (or trillions) they received in treaty money and keep the land, or keep the treaty money and the land they already have
