Bobbi Ann was well known due to the over 20 years of being Toby Barrett's assistant. The folks of Haldimand-Norfolk (where I grew up actually) didn't appreciate how the PC party ignored Toby's wishes for her to take over for him and tried to drop in someone else.
I want a conservative leader that will work with the USA in regards to the drug and defense issues that are real. So, moderate the damage and quietly reduce influence on our economy by growing our refining capacity, pipelines to East and Churchill Man. Work to make the USA irrelevant in these areas long term. Stop selling our resources in raw form and sell finished products shipped thru Canadian ports!
Totally agree with Kevin's point about how Doug Ford and the PCs were very wrong in how they handled covid and harmed many people that is still affecting them today. I didn't vote for PCs mostly because of that and I don't trust that they wouldn't do the same in a similar situation. I voted for the New Blue Party and I believe this snap election did hurt them because there was no time for them to get organized (candidate deadline for registration was Feb. 13) and get their message out. Belinda Karahalios (New Blue) was kicked out of the PC party because she didn't agree with the bill that gave the PC's powers during covid.
Well, this kind of takes the steam out of the radical left's "Poilievre is MAGA" personal attacks. No worries, they'll fabricate another, it's what they do
Poilievre is not the answer to this country; he is just another political hack, I used to think he would be a good Prime Minister, but after listening to his constant flip-flopping. He needs to work with Trump and be more respectful towards the US.
