While Canada’s premiers gathered at the Muskoka Summit to address U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff threats on Monday, the domestic issue of bail reform also appeared to be a priority.

Several premiers renewed their calls for the Liberals to introduce legislation that would make it harder for repeat violent offenders to get bail when Parliament returns from its summer break in September.
