When the chiefs and their family and friends take those funds and spend it for themselves, the ones who need it have to go without. Why are there still so many reserves without drinking water? Why are there so many in poor health? Why are the educational outcomes so poor on reserves? Where are the jobs that could be created by the Band not forthcoming?
And let's expose the real reason why so many reserves don't have clean drinking water after the taxpayers have shoveled $ billions into this effort over the years.
Time for a National Referendum on maintaining special "citizens plus" rights and status for indigenous peoples, pursuing universal equality as opposed to fabricated equity. CPC should make this part of their mandate.

Politicians should be subjected to the same laws and penalties as us mere mortals. They should lead by example. They don't.
