After a video allegedly filmed by Khalistani activist truck driver and social media user Prabhjot Singh Johal, showing a Sikh man openly carrying a crossbow at a Sikh community event in Mississauga, Ont., went viral, police say there has been no investigation into the matter, noting they were “unable” to verify the video.

In the video, a Mississauga street sign for “Brandon Gate Drive” can be seen in the background.

Peel Regional Police told Juno News on Monday they were “unable to confirm the authenticity” of the video and that “no such incident was reported” in connection with the Khalsa Day parade held in the city on May 3.
