Liberal Justice Minister Sean Fraser's comment about the Wild West is interesting. The situation iin Canada is much worse than the wild west. His statement reveals an attitude of frivolity concerning the increase of crime and for our laws and police authority. His remarks down-plays the seriousness of the crime issue. The two tier justice is a farce on one side and a weaponizing on the other. Why does this happen in a society that values law and order especially if our leaders truly stand for law and order and justice for all? Some days I feel like I am living in the time of the Roman Empire just before it was burning.

You are indeed reliving Rome's last days. Its pretty obvious; our youth are ignored, our elderly are ignored, money is shot out of cannons for votes of 'newcomers', taxes are super high and disincent hard work and investment. The decline is well underway.

My law is, you enter my castle as a threat to myself, my family or my property, and you will be carried out in a old piece of carpet I have in the garage, and transported to the sticks where you will provide a substantial meal to the local carnivores. No police will be called. Choose your victims wisely.

The cavalier attitude of the Liberal government these past 10 years on real crime that make people feel more and more insecure, including in their home, while prosecuting vigorously political dissent and censoring inconvenient truth tellers, suggests that there is a plan to install a totalitarian police state under the guise of "safety for all", right in line to comply with the WEF Great Reset and UN One World Government. Let's remember Benjamin Franklin's famous quote: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." We definitely need to bring more common sense in government and stop being lulled by Liberal empty meaningless slogans.

In that vein Sir, May I propose that all politicians who believe there is no crime problem automatically become ineligible for ANY police services and security details. In fact, their location and their family member's locations [especially their children's] must be available to the public 24 hours a day. So they can show us how honest they are with our money of course. Buuuttt, if some criminals happen to see these locations and happen to decide that a rich politician with weaknesses like children and spouses just happens to vulnerable and just happens to not have a hundred guns looking out for them....well, then said politician can show us by example just how awesome they are and how crime doesn't exist!

Andree, you have valid point, why do they need security detail? Like you sated pull the security for Carney, Trudope, Freeland, Frazer, as we have no crime here so why need the taxpayers to foot the bill for the elaborate security for these politicians?

Mr Fraser is another tall, vacuous head of hair like Justin Trudeau that seems to attract a certain quality of voter in this country. There are no half measures when your life is threatened. In my Canada the person breaking into your home does not have the same rights as those who should feel safe in their home.

Vote for Alberta Separation! And if you aren't Albertan, vote to split your province out of this feces-hole. Its the only solution; otherwise elites with bodyguards will always tell the rest of us there is no problem!

This legislation is long overdue and merely protects a fundamental right. Sean Fraser is a virtue signalling hypocrite, like the rest of his cronies and his Dear Leader. No confidence in the Libs. Zero.

Any soft on crime politician, or crime-denier lets call them --> should be cutoff from security details. And, their address should be ineligible for 911 services.

What do those who voted for these fools think of themselves now? Are proud of voting for a bunch who continually mouth meaningless platitudes or complete falsehoods? Oh, sorry, I forgot they voted for all the money this government promised to spend on them. Where the money comes from is immaterial.

Minister Fraser, I can think of several areas in this country where you could set up an office and operate your ministry and your staff. After six months, then give us us your opinion of the "wild west" in Canada and a little "wild east" on the side. And would you like "some american fire arms " with that experience.

Have you ever heard anyone in the liberal government voice concern or make any remarks concerning all the crime & murders that have been happening? They only voice displeasure when Pierre comes out with real solutions because they never thought of that. They truly don't care. They're living in a bubble & every day citizens are their least concern. Canada is beyond the wild west & they're too blind to see it. Only Pierre will be able to force change on this issue like he did the carbon tax.

Liberals seem to have a problem with law abiding Canadians and are aggressively attacking them. We can clearly see this with their ridiculous gun buyback program. Disarming law abiding Canadians does absolutely nothing for reducing crime in fact it increases open season on Canadians. When you see police encouraging people to leave their key fobs at the door to make it easier for criminals and encourage people to comply with home invaders you know we are a country in severe crisis. The police have now encouraged open season for home invaders. This is simply outrageous. When you compare Florida’s to Canada’s police service I want to move to Florida where the sheriff applauds the home owner who shoots to kill and encourages citizens to ask him for lessons as it saves him paperwork, trials etc… therefore saving taxpayers money. Canada has totally demoralized our police service we are an international joke!

There is nothing but criminals in our governments and we need them to be placed into prison from the PM to judges to union heads to Education employees, I want a safe country & accountable governments..!!!

CLo's avatar

Me too! But I doubt I'll see one in my lifetime. Alberta separation is the ONLY solution; we can let Jews live in peace, we can shoot home invaders, and if a crackhead tries to rape your daughter on public transit, she'll have pepper spray to handle the jerk. And lower taxes to boot!!!

We’ve had over a decade of lawlessness in Canada under the liberals watch and all we have to do is look at the crime mess we’re in today. Mr. Fraser, we have a problem with your credibility. Things have to change drastically and if you can’t fix it, give up seat and give the job to somebody else that is up for the task…

Fraser has been a disaster at each portfolio he has been given

Immigration? Even his replacement, fellow Liberal MP Marc Miller was forced to admit it was poorly handled

Housing? Fraser again accomplished nothing at the very least. At worst he made it even worse.

Now as Justice Minister he’s suggesting Canadians “don’t worry, be happy” while crime is happening all around them?

Maybe he should talk a walk ALONE some night through the Jane/ Finch corridor, or some of the seedier areas of Markham or Scarborough & then tell us how things are

The ones that can force a change are the cops themselves.

But the damn cowards don"t have the guts to stand up to their superiors and refuse to charge victims of home invasions that stood their ground and fought back.

My advice ,SSS. no one will be looking on your property for a criminal no one misses cause i don't think they record their plans on where to break in next.

Wild West is here courtesy of the last 10 years under the liberal government. We have loosen laws, handcuffed police, compromised courts and increased massive unvetted immigrant numbers. The criminal has an open buffet of riches and no constraints. We Canadians seem to be given the choice of surrender, comply and give over. Loss of life seems to have no impact on the response. Loss of safety for our children seems irrelevant. Increased crime rates and catch and release actions have no rebound thinking of bad and asinine policies. The ideologies and values of the liberals are hell bent on continuing regardless of the outcomes on this country or its own citizens. We ARE IN the Wild West where you, the citizen are the only thing between your own safety and your family and the criminal’s intentions. So buckle up and be ready for mayhem and courts filled with victims who defend themselves and their loved ones. The question will be how long will the asleep stay loyal to these incompetent liberals before they say ENOUGH?

Fraser was right, Canada is NOT the “Wild West”

In the “Wild West” people were at least allowed to defend themselves, their families & property

Fraser’s version of Canada is sadly now the “Meek & Mild West”

I believe this minister is VERY out of touch with reality. He lives in Eastern Canada and is 41 year old. What does he know about the Wild West. We have a problem with criminals and he can’t see the forest from the trees! Obviously he doesn’t care about those he serves!
