So tired of the endless gas lighting, comical incompetence and other outright BS from the so-called Liberal party. Nothing gets through to them, everything rolls off into the sewage system on the other side of their looking glass.

Turn the way back machine to a mere 6 months ago when Carny promised Canadians major projects, shovels-in-the-ground with a 'blinding speed that Canada has not seen before' - or words to that exact effect.

Now, caught in the path of modern geopolitics (Venezuela) - which does change with blinding speed - his deer-in-the-headlights persona emerges, yet again. (Think back, not very far, to his caving to Trump with actual blinding speed, on the DST issue. Even caving retroactively)

Now, with the requirement for pipelines, east and west, reaching a critical necessity, his only response is the non-response of referring to his earlier response. (Whew, I hope you were able to follow that)

That response is his MOU with Alberta. Which is, in fact, a giant nothing burger. All he promised then was the "possibility" of "considering" the idea at some nebulous future date. A true masterpiece of political weasel words. If it ever reached the 'consideration stage', it would be followed of course by a 10 to 20 year study and negotiation period with the LGBQT people, all First Nations tribes, the WEF, China, Paul Berardo, and Ru Paul.

Carny is an abysmal failure as a politician, and something even worse as a PM.

Despite every effort of the bought-and-paid-for Main Stream Media to demonise Pierre Poilievre, he remains the strongest, most competent federal politician in Canada. He is an order of magnitude better and more qualified than anyone in the so-called Liberal camp. I have no problem visualising Pierre dealing with Donald Trump. Probably part of the reason Trump continues to support Carny, who as a Liberal (sic) is the ideological opposite to Trump's right wing Republicanism. Trump knows that he 'owns' Carny. He also recognises Poilievre's strength.

Carny needs to get out of the way before Canada ceases to exist.

Why can’t people wake up?? Action not words!

It's very hard to point at any one thing for that Debra, but the Mainstream Media would be a good place to start. Being owned and operated by the Liberal Party, and as horrible as they are at reporting anything resembling actual, meaningful, fair and unbiased news, the MSM is still where 90% of the population gets their news.

Sites such as Juno and Sam Cooper's The Bureau - plus a few other lesser-knowns - are the last and only bastions of actual Journalism in Canada.

Yes…I see what you mean, I also think Carney got in because of people’s hate for Trump. Now they won’t accept that Trump has walked all over Carney. They won’t accept that Carney is a weak man. Why didn’t they look at the last 10 years of Liberals and vote for what was good for Canada. That seemed like common sense to me.

Great comment Debra and it's good to know that there are people out there whose eyes are actually open.

Stay tuned but be prepared.

Care to place a wager??

Is Carney in it for Canada of for:

- The WEF

- The UN

- The EU

- Globalists

- Environmentalists

- His American Investments

He checks the boxes for being a member of or holding interests in all of the above

Currently not a single one of those would be happy with giving Alberta and Canada what it needs that being pipelines.

Stay tuned

I said it before, Carney serves other masters, not Canada first.

Keep saying it.

Maybe enough of the morons in the "Elbows Up" crowd will finally get it.

I doubt it but keep trying.

I don't like to say this but I doubt Carney will change his tune. He's still pushing his globalist agenda while weakening our fragile economy. As a former banker he should know better.

As a former banker he is all about being a banker.

When was the last time you can recall a banker acting in anybody's best interests except their own and those they work for.

In Carney's case that would be The WEF, The UN, His Globalist and Environmentalist buddies and of course his buddies at Brookfield.

Didn't see Canada in that list did you... LOL

Carney says “A functioning, not corrupt Venezuelan economy will produce more oil, It will be better for the Venezuelan people. It will be more stable for the Western Hemisphere. That’s all a good thing.” If that is “a good thing” for the Venezuelan people, why isn’t developing our oil reserves “a good thing for” Canadians?

Obtaining a green light from carney will be a miracle. Steeped in net-zero dogma, carbon taxing, and climate change, carney will be a tough rock to move. The only way is to have an election and subject the liberals to a gigantic loss.

The liberals are looking at the US/Venezualan oil situation through only one lens, that being the massive amounts of oil which will be controlled by the US. For the liberals, this is the perfect scenario to keep the Alberta economy from growing which would produce more wealth for Alberta. The liberals aim has always been to keep Alberta from obtaining any more economic power which would then give Alberta more political capital...Not allowing another pipeline to the pacific coast would be a solution to hobbling Alberta's economy thus preventing Alberta to achieve any more political power. Never forget that the Ottawa liberals have a huge disdain for the western provinces, mostly Alberta. Former, and now the current Liberal governments have done their best to thwart the opportunities against Alberta and have prevented them from obtaining their true economic potential. For the liberals and their Laurentian and globalist elite partners, the western part of Kanada is only allowed to continue to send equalization money and wealth to the east, mainly Ontario and Quebec.. Ottawa has always looked at the west as mere drawers of water and hewers of wood to be exploited at the whims of the Laurentian elites, to send wealth, money and other important necessities to the east, without questioning it. Their actions will always continue to support that ideology..

The race is not on the race is over before it even started. It was obvious for months that Trump would make a move on Venezuela. Trump's announcement yesterday that he had secured 30-50 million barrels of oil from Venezuela to be shipped to US/Texas will displace the same amount of Alberta oil. The legacy media and their so called oil experts banged their gums all weekend about 5-10 years until Venezuelan oil would affect Canada, trump did is in 4 days. As we have already seen with Carney, Liberals, Eby, natives, environmental green grifters, a pipeline to Pacific is at best a 10 year plan if there is any plan at all. Lock the doors she is all over.

And the snake Carney’s continued push of his Net Zero nonsense and "decarbonized oil" will continue to ensure Canada's oil remains uncompetitive due to production costs and lack of investors.

“This is why Canada must immediately approve a pipeline to the Pacific Coast,” he (Poilievre) said.

Actually, we don't need "a" pipeline to the Pacific Coast "approved"; we need a half dozen built right now, along with the coastal export facilities. And the same for the Atlantic Coast. We've needed these for decades!

It's not going to happen and. These socialists will do nothing, and wait for the U.S to import oil from Venezuela, while Alberta oil production will be cut.
