I hope they keep him, he is either one of the best Conservative leaders in a long time (and they've had some good ones) or he's fibbing to our faces. I've been fooled by leaders before (we all have) but he seems quite genuine, spelling out his positions very clearly and very unequivocably, plus he learns on his feet quite quickly.

I hope they keep Pierre Poilievre, he run an awesome campaign, and he is so sincere in what he says.

So, seriously, is the next leader to be an O'Toole type who preaches conservatism to Conservatives and Liberalism to eveybody else? It should have been noted by someone in the Conservative Party that if you want to preach small government don't do it where a bloated bureaucracy exists. Was the idea that a Conservative leader should run in the East in order for this policy to look less western? Someone lost that bet.

They are not going to replace him. It would be a detriment to the party to replace him. His lose in his riding was a deliberate set up by the lieberals they changed the boundaries on the riding. So that the new riding incorporated 50% of strong lieberal riding. So that it cut his odds in half. And then did dirty at the poles with phony list on the ballots with 90+ participants. Even the elections commission was playing a lieberal dirty tactic. And at many polls. In a poll in BC (i think it was) some was seen taking a box of ballots away. Likely the CPC did win the election, but can't prove it as the commission and the lieberals covered things up quickly.

I think it's a party normal procedure, being a formality this time. Don't see any reason to replace him. This is not really a worth while mention. Must be the writers first time out of school.

This doesn't happen in the Liberal party so it's not normal for them. I think this has a lot to do with the strategists behind Pierre. They need a new team.
