Poilievre to discuss MP recall policy with caucus next week

While noting that recall is not yet official Conservative party policy, Poilievre said he plans to raise the issue with his caucus soon.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says he is open to introducing a federal recall mechanism that would allow voters to remove Members of Parliament who switch parties mid-term, following a wave of public frustration over recent floor crossings.

In an exclusive interview on Juno News’ The Fighter with Kris Sims, Poilievre argued that recent defections of Conservatives to the governing Liberals undermine the outcome of the last election.
