During a fireside chat, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre addressed a crowd of hundreds of people, remarking on lessons learned from the last election.
I really do like PP but LeDrew in another video on Juno had a most excellent point.
... Now of course prefaced by ... If there is anything left to save ....
PP should start looking more Prime Ministerial to Canadians it could not hurt.
... BUT ...
To do that (a LeDrew) points out he needs one or more new "attack dogs" who have his most excellent edge and quick response capability to do the majority of the dirty work.
I don't see anything like that currently in the makeup of the CPC Caucus and they dearly need at least one or two so for now...
Keep up the most excellent work PP and indeed broaden the base.
As I said... At whatever time it is when Carney and the Liberals have to go back to the people they will at least have shown (not a surprise to many of us) that they are corrupt, liars and frauds.
The theme with them continues ... The fish rots from the head down.
We need them gone now but that is not going to happen so hang in PP.
Canada needs you now even more than it did before.
The geography of North America does not change by picking fights with our closest neighbour and the country that we have stood with through two world wars and the Korean conflict. Both the United States and Canada can and should benefit from a fair and equitable trade deal with common interests recognized and made to work in everyone’s best interests. Trading with your closest neighbour would make more sense than any other trading that requires far greater expense and less defensive capability for the common good of North America. Our other closest neighbours have not got Canadians best interest at heart, their only interest is in Canada’s resources and owning them as China does at present.
PP needs to take a careful look at his caucus. The Liberals have definitely infiltrated the party with so called “red tories”. The plan is to return to the days of the Reform Party and PC’s. A guarantee of Liberal power forever. The “Lump “ out in Nova Scotia and the unstable guy in Edmonton are pretty clear examples. Time is running out to save Canada from being a northern version of New York city.
ALL Canadians need to know and understand Mark Carney’s recent rapprochement with Xi Jinping — hailed by Beijing as a “turning point” in Canada-China relations is an important part of China’s toolbox toward communistic world control!! Carney’s bragging use of certain phrases mirrors CCP propaganda.
Veteran Canadian diplomat Charles Burton in an exclusive Bureau Podcast interview with Sam Cooper, spoke with the calm precision of a man who has spent a lifetime decoding China’s political language. “Carney used the term ‘pragmatic and constructive’ — that’s code,” Burton said. “It means doing things on China’s terms. And when he talked about a ‘sustainable and inclusive international system,’ that echoes Beijing’s doctrine of the ‘community of common destiny for mankind’ — China’s blueprint for a world order under its leadership.” Burton’s interpretation highlights how linguistic mimicry, even if inadvertent, can signal alignment with Beijing’s worldview. “It’s a standard United Front tactic — to get foreign leaders to repeat Chinese language,” he said. The link below is definitely worth the time to listen and watch.
What does it matter what Poilievre has to say. He isn't doing a dam thing for us. He lost the election because of his stupidity. And I can't see him being anything but a a bantering rooster in the hoc. I tried many times to get an answer from him and the party. When they won't reply to a lifetime supporter, I don't have any faith in them. And I warned him and his colleagues about what he was doing wrong. But the continued to do it. And lost the election. He preached how he would so the same as conman, put counter tariffs on to fight the USA. All talked about was fighting Trump. When his effort should have been on fighting the lieberal regime. And now he talks a little different. But he won't admit he was wrong. He might be a good conservative but he works at it just like he was a lieberal. I lost my faith in him too.
So you are saying that you are no better than the two MPs that quit or walked across the floor. What political experience do you have that you think you know more than the experts?
Well maybe I must be. Look at the results. Look at what's happening. Am I wrong. You didn't have any idea, did you? And yet you condemn me for speaking the truth. And giving an opinion that I am intitled to the same as any one here. Sorry if the truth hurts. Tell me I'm wrong when Mr. Poilievre is elected for PM.
And right now, that doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon, with the Liberals capable of taking a majority Government. However, I am still with Pierre. He still makes sense to me as to what he is trying to accomplish for this country.
Really you know him personally?? And he won't take time to talk to you? Did you try to talk to corney too. Did he answer you?. If you're so connected why don't you give your name. Fuck off you idiot.
Well that wasn't a very nice thing to say to a fellow conservative. One who has been a conservative for over seventy years. Are you blind with madness or what brings you to say such a foolish thing. Mr. Harper replied to my questions when I wrote to him. So did Rona Ambrose when she served as a temp PM. They were quite willing to talk. All I ever get now is a daily request for donations from todays conservative party. AND NO, you don't have to know them personally to get and a reply. That's part of their job. I would suggest you get a grip on yourself and think about it.
Re read your comment. You sure don't sound like a supporting conservative to me. They were 'willing' to "talk" to you or did they send you a form letter with generic answers. If you don't think Pierre is doing his job properly in keeping Corney on a short leash, that's his job after all, maybe you should call him up and tell him that. Are you embarrassed to admit you're a closet libtard. Don't be, there's lots of them. Older doesn't make you smarter.
Now you really are getting insulting. You behave like a spoiled brat, who never grew up. I have been and always will be a conservative. Even voted for that dumbhead O'toole. Or the fool who signed in the GST. But we don't always get a top brain for an MP. So tell me who did you vote for in the one election you voted in.
Sheesh you're all over the place. I voted for the guy that's going to eventually save this country. Hope you'll be alive to enjoy it. Now go take your meds and lie down for a nap.

Pierre is right. We need to work with our neighbours.
> Carney was wrong to claim that he could “handle Trump” when Trump could not “be controlled.”
True. Mr. P is right on. What can Canada offer the US? I'd think mining, mineral, oil. Drill baby Drill.
And let's not forget water.

Thanks, Peter. Now sell that concept to the Liberal group.

Oh please, give me a break. I could run this country better than the Liberals are.

Maybe you should run for office if you think you know better than the ones currently running in the Conservative Party.
Maybe you should, you are demonstrating that you are more knowledgeable than I am.
Obviously ANYBODY is more knowledgeable than you. Even the mentally inept libtards
Wouldn't that involve nominating this person and having a by-election?

What you're still here! Go back and play with you dollies.
My MP is Dan Albas and at least he answers any questions or comments I have.
