Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre responded to questions from a reporter after being asked about Canada’s economic performance, following reports that the country had entered a technical recession after two consecutive quarters of negative growth.

A reporter with The Hill Times raised the issue during a press conference in Ottawa on Friday, noting the downturn in recent data and asking for the Conservative leader’s assessment.
