Poilievre on Rogan + Man threatens to sue Juno News for calling him a man
Poilievre joins Joe Rogan’s podcast, CBC begins its fearmongering campaign and polls show Poilievre has a real problem with older women. Plus, Juno News is being sued for correctly identifying a man
On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show News Update, Candice brings us the latest news on Pierre Poilievre’s trip to Texas, where he met with Governor Abbot and finally appeared on the world’s biggest podcasts, the Joe Rogan Experience. Candice discusses the reaction and how Poilievre was invited on the show last year, but declined the offer.
This is a good move for Poilievre, who has to bypass the corrupt and biased legacy media and speak directly to Canadians.
Candice discusses the latest poll, which shows Mark Carney’s Liberals with a huge lead over Poilievre’s Conservatives. Perhaps most notably, Carney enjoys a 7-1 lead with older women. 74% of woman aged 65+ support the Liberals.

Next, Candice is joined by Juno News investigative reporter Melanie Bennet to discuss a news report that blew up yesterday online.
As Melanie reported, a radical trans activist who promotes prostitution, appears in gay porn and once won a YWCA “women’s leadership award” is running for mayor in Hamilton, Ontario. Juno News reported accurately about this person, and referred to him using male pronouns.
The mayoral candidate got very upset that we identified him as a male, lashing out on social media and writing an email to us threatening to sue. We replied saying that we refuse to correct the story, since we did not make any errors, and that our editorial position is to tell the truth (ie that men are not women).
The story blew up online, and Candice and Melanie discuss the reaction and insane world we live in where legacy media journalists, government agencies, and most of society are willing to support the delusions of mentally unwell people and lie to the public about whether a person is a man or a woman.
