Peel Regional Police are asking the public’s assistance after a man allegedly exposed himself to multiple women inside a Mississauga retail store, highlighting ongoing concerns about public safety in the region.
According to investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau, the incidents occurred in January at a store near Burnhamthorpe Road West and Erin Mills Parkway.
CCTV footage obtained by police reportedly shows the suspect exposing himself to several unsuspecting female shoppers before being confronted by an employee and fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a Black male of medium build, roughly 200 lbs., with dark brown eyes and a full dark beard. He fled the store in a blue, older-model Honda Civic.
“This type of brazen behaviour in public spaces is deeply concerning,” said a Peel police spokesperson. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have been a victim themselves, to come forward.
Investigators emphasize the importance of community involvement in stopping repeat offenders and protecting vulnerable members of society.
