Peel police have arrested four suspects, including one accused youth offender, in a child sex trafficking investigation involving the exploitation of little girls, some as young as 11.
Peel Regional Police announced Monday they had arrested four individuals, including a 15-year-old youth, in a child sex-trafficking investigation.
The youth faces several human-trafficking charges. The three adults arrested allegedly purchased sexual services involving the minors: 21-year-old Mohamad Omar Al-Saleh and 22-year-old Mustafa Abdo, both of Toronto, and 20-year-old Yousif Al-Gburi of Mississauga.
“In January 2024, the unit investigated allegations that several young female victims, ages 11 to 14 years old, were being trafficked and exploited in the sex-trade throughout the Greater Toronto Area,” the news release said. “It is alleged that the suspects used coercion, manipulation and threats of physical violence to maintain control and influence over the victims, while financially benefiting from their exploitation.”
Police charged the three adults with obtaining sexual services for consideration from a minor, sexual assault of a female under 16 years, and sexual interference.
The youth offender, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces three charges of procuring a minor for sexual exploitation, two charges for receiving benefit from trafficking persons, and two charges of materially benefiting from sexual services provided by a person under 18. He also faces three charges for exercising control, direction and influence and two charges for trafficking persons under the age of 18.

Conservative MP and justice critic Larry Brock called for “real action” from the Liberal government to support law enforcement in tackling child sex crimes and exploitation.
“Enough is enough. It’s time to protect our children. This is happening in our communities. Criminals are targeting vulnerable youth through coercion, manipulation, and threats of violence while criminals profit from their suffering,” Brock said in a post on X. “Protecting our kids must be the top priority. We need real action to support law enforcement, stop predators, and hold those who exploit children fully accountable.”
