Ottawa to “eliminate” financial requirements for U.S. streamers

The Carney government plans to “eliminate” its financial contribution requirement for U.S. streamers that had previously been set by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission
According to a court document, Ottawa intends to replace that requirement with taxpayers-funding.
