An economic think tank has given the Carney government a “D” grade in its latest report card for senior governments, citing a lack of transparency in how Ottawa decides to tax Canadians’ earnings.
Thanks to groups like the C.D. Howe Institute, we can see just how terrible some Provincial and our Federal spending accountability is! Gone are the days when we just trust that governments in supposed "free countries" and that our politicians take very seriously their responsibilities! They are supposed to be working for us, and we are supposed to be keeping them accountable AND transparent, or we vote them OUT, right? We must demand more fiscal accountability and transparency in this country, or you know what? We lose all our freedoms, first at a trickle and now as it is turning out, at a fast gallop, like the grand heist at the Louvre! Poof, in 4 minutes it's gone!
