If the government removes all funding for Indians based solely on race Canada will cease to have an Indian problem and we will have to borrow a minimum of 36 billion less every year to pay for our collective “guilt”. Have you watched the documentary Making a Killing. These schools were not horrid. Many children loved going there because they got meals and education. We have all been had. Instances of abuse may well have occurred but they still do today because humans are not perfect, and no that doesn’t make it right, but we don’t live in a perfect world.
