The idea of two solitudes in Canada is typically understood as the great divide between Anglophones and Francophones who cannot see eye-to-eye due to cultural and linguistic differences, the latter preventing any meaningful communication to bridge the gap.
But in the post-COVID era, “two solitudes” could just as easily describe the chasm between lawmakers, legacy media and its subscribers who remain uninterested in the suffering that COVID vaccines caused, and the camp of vaccine-injured, their advocates and members of the public who saw through the “safe and effective” lies, understand the damage caused and now want accountability.
While any accountability for the human toll that experimental COVID vaccines wrought has been non-existent in Canada, on Tuesday, Conservative MP Dean Allison’s COVID vaccine injury hearings – dubbed The Allison Inquiry – began on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Whether it will bring Canada’s two COVID solitudes any closer together remains to be seen.
Legacy media journalists were absent, as were any MPs from the governing Liberal Party, which bears ultimate responsibility for these injuries. Of the four Conservative MPs who attended, Mike Dawson (Miramichi–Grand Lake, NB) told the Inquiry he believed his daughter-in-law’s baby died in the womb following a COVID vaccination in the second trimester, and Essex MP Chris Lewis (Ontario) said he believed his mother suffered from turbo esophageal cancer after taking the COVID shot.
Lead-off witness Ron Johnson, the US Senator for Wisconsin and chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations on national health, welfare and safety – instrumental in obtaining US COVID czar Anthony Fauci’s diary – told the Inquiry that by the end of April 2021 there were 6971 post-COVID vax deaths, but at the time VAERS (vaccine adverse event reporting system) personnel were so overwhelmed by incoming reports they were only able to log 2900.
Other Fauci diary revelations Johnson shared included the then-chief medical advisor to POTUS’s declaring in March 2020 testimony at the US House Oversight Committee that COVID could result in a two- to three percent mortality rate, while the month previous “privately confiding in his diary a similar case fatality rate for COVID, quote, more likely 0.2 to 0.3 percent rather than 2 percent.”
“He used scaremongering to push mandates and societal lockdowns that devastated, and I mean devastated, people’s lives and global economies,” said Johnson.
Asked if Canada’s Chief Medical Officer Theresa Tam, responsible for pushing similar lockdowns and the COVID shots, was mentioned in Fauci’s diary, emails or texts his committee obtained, Johnson said he had not heard of Dr. Tam but would investigate.
“What I will do is have (Theresa Tam) as a search term for the (documents) and we will see…if my staff is right listening now, dial in ‘Dr. Theresa Tam’,” responded Johnson. “We are finding there’s a great deal of cooperation between Fauci, health officials and Chinese officials, which is interesting. As we get more and more information, we’ll start releasing that, so stay tuned.”
Next to testify was Lethbridge, AB resident Carrie Sakamoto, who suffered a vaccine injury after taking her second shot in June of 2021; a Pfizer version of the experimental drugs on top of an AstraZeneca COVID shot she had in April that same year.
“I started getting a pain in my brain; it was so bad. I call it fire in my brain, and I have it to this day. Fire. It just feels like my brain is on fire,” Sakamoto told the Inquiry. “But as soon as (migraine) meds wore off, I was in the exact same position…then my face started swelling up, and I thought I was having a stroke. At the hospital they told me it was Bell’s palsy (but) they sent me home again because they said the hospital was filled up with COVID patients.”
Sakamoto said her memory loss in the aftermath is “really bad,” and several times during her testimony she had to stop and admit she had forgotten the question. What’s worse is her current brain fog appears to be a treatment Catch-22 in that “MDs say it’s medication related, but I haven’t been able to go off the meds to see if that’s true….and we did some testing, and I tested as early-onset Alzheimer’s, but I can’t go off medication, or else I’ll return to the condition I was in.”
Carrie’s husband, Shawn Sakamoto, broke down talking about the small amount his wife has received from the Vaccine Injury Support Program, thanked GiveSendGo donors for helping them out financially, and said the family has had to liquidate their seed farm to help pay for her treatments.
“It’s been incredibly difficult for the family. I prayed to the Lord to take everything we have but don’t take the mother of our boys,” Shawn said, adding he was also injured after taking the COVID shot, as was his eldest son, who now suffers ongoing migraines like Carrie.
“We’ve been run over, backed up and run over again and again. We’ve lost our farm and four businesses. I’ve got blood clots (from the vax). Our lives have been turned into a fight for survival.”
Canadian Forces veteran Michael Menair, who suffered serious blood clots after taking the COVID shot, which was mandated for serving members and triggered his medical release from the army, also testified. He was accompanied by his lawyer Catherine Christensen, who claimed she had talked to thousands of CAF members who were injured by experimental COVID drugs mandated for all serving members.
“My theory is the Chief of Defence Staff (General Wayne Eyre) knew how dangerous the Moderna (shot) was and knew the risk was true months before he brought in that mandate (but) will never face accountability for that. He is untouchable. I don’t think I could ever convince a crown prosecutor to bring criminal charges,” Christiansen said.
“Even the (CAF) surgeon general told him not to do that to the troops, his own chief medical officer. But (the CAF injured) blood is on his hands and the hands of the current CDS (General Jennie Carignan), who was a senior commanding officer at the time…it’s a massive cover-up.”
Though the Allison Inquiry is being held in chambers where Parliament’s Health Committee would meet, it has no power to subpoena witnesses, nor can it offer any recommendations to government on how to rectify the suffering or make changes to the law to prevent future authoritarian edicts. Allison told Juno News the goal of the Inquiry is to offer the vaccine injured a forum to tell their stories, which have been largely ignored, with the hope of stirring more conversations on a topic that legacy media has essentially rendered taboo amongst the general population.
Allison Inquiry’s lead counsel Shawn Buckley, an expert in Canada’s Food and Drugs Act regulatory regime, provided a glimpse into the incredible polarization that’s manifested over the issue of experimental COVID vaccines. Caging the vaccine injured as “Canada’s dirty little secret”, he noted that of the 50 witnesses selected from more than 1400 applicants to address the Inquiry, several had to back out over family pressure. One, said Buckley, because their “daughter-in-law said that if I testified, she would never let me see my grandchildren again.”
