Canadians love to cut down the tall poppies. They can't handle some people paying out-of-pocket to get care more quickly even though it speeds things up for those who can't afford to pay. The vast majority of Canadians have socialist leanings and their idea of equity is everyone getting equally bad care. But, hey, at least we won't be personally bankrupted like Americans, right? We'll be dead and the country will be bankrupt, but that's the Canadian way.

Headline suggests Canada's health care system had good days...lol...Our health care system has been on the rocks for over 40 years..Internal and external abuse of this system is the true culprit to a "FAILED" health care system. I would like to defend the nurses here, but I have watched the lack of care from even this group for decades...Their mind set comes from the Internal abuse I mentioned, not necessarily their doing, but it is their results! The external issues I speak of are a myriad of challenges proposed by Canadians who walk around with their heads up their ass. Canada has not only become weak on the world stage, but we have also become weak nationally. I have always advocated for private medical and let me look after me, but "NO", the govt knows what is best for me, and me just rolls over and goes to doc's office for grade 1, page 2 aliments! Our Health Care System is the result of decades of a nation of people who do not have the fortitude to, not only protect themselves, but unable to protect their way of life in a free, democratic, sovereign nation. I have said it before and I will always say this, Canadians have embarrassed themselves on the world stage...we had a chance to earn our respect back with the freedom convoy, but we failed, and why did we fail? Well I know so many, so called conservatives who bad mouthed the freedom convoy, for nothing more then their disrespect of the trucking industry...not unlike the final nail in Canada's coffin, because of TDS! There is nothing to be proud of anymore admitting you are Canadian!!!!! We failed ourselves and do our best to point fingers at every group out there, truly disgraceful! all because of Apathy and Compliance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The booming demand for MAID is the most obvious sign of failure of the system. Palliative care is beyond the budget and counter to leftist ideology.

Our government doesn’t want us healthy. They want us to be ill and dependent so they can do what they want with limited pushback.
If they really wanted us healthy, they would have been working to correct this decades ago!
All the rules around how doctors are permitted to “practice” doesn’t make us healthy, either.
And state sanctioned killing is the worst thing. Why make people healthy if you can’t just kill them instead?
