Actually, we need to go back to journalistic ethics: tell the facts and let the listeners decide what is going on. CBC stopped doing that a long time ago. now it's just a big propaganda machine.

Well said. I have observed the decline of CBC and the betrayal of its mandate to become the propaganda mouthpiece of the Liberal Party of Canada and its woke ideology, betraying even the liberalism for which it's named. I'm in favour of defunding not only the CBC but ALL media. If independent media survive from the contributions of their audience/readership, so should all media. The good ones will survive, the other ones do not deserve to survive.

Burn the CBC to the ground, and cut taxes!

I don’t know that I want to burn down the buildings… but if they’re not reporting truthfully, then they don’t deserve taxpayer support.

any journalistic reporting should not be taxpayer funded....ever! This gives rise to partisan reporting and lies. Defund the CBC asap!

Cut their funding, let them truly compete for viewers/listeners and obtain advertising dollars like most stations do

CBC promotes victimhood. If you ain't depressed, just give it a listen. Virtually every broadcast, every interview idls focused on some issue of personal cultural, hostorial institutional abuse

Hardly news. Just views.

The cbc is just an arm of the liberal party. It should not have political shows at all. Just commercial ad time for each party. They need to be restructured completely.

no...defunded. Taxpayer dollars should not be funding news and FACTS, since the CBC has let that go a long time ago....

Nah, CBC had become largely irrelevant in the 1980’s.

The gloss of relevance was carried by the few star shows like Cross Country Check up and Vinyl Cafe, but as those solid people faded away, CBC let the sewer flood in. All we had in the North at the time was CBC, and of the 24 hrs of air time there was eventually nothing worth listening to by 1990.

#CBC, the #Canadian #Liberal government’s vocal chords of the falsely deceptive #MinistryofTruth, is now a proven, treasonous, corrupt mouthpiece of the #wef and it’s #antihuman agenda. Those with integrity are tired of the #doublespeak.

CBC was on the ropes long before Trudeau the Second came along. In the twilight years of the reign of Trudeau the First CBC was starting to slide off the rails.

While CBC continues its' propaganda and ideology is more important that the truth Conservatives should take every opportunity to add their voice until such time we see the end of this giant sucking machine.

Great article. Except that this started happening way before JT’s time. Go back to the 70’s and even before starting with “eco” issues - ex: we were going to run out of oil by 1973. Abortionists were hot on CBC and anything Liberal for those days. Payoffs to Liberal party friends etc, etc.; you don’t get into this big of a mess by only 1 dumbbell (no apologies), it takes years polluted with true “moral values” being tromped on from every direction. If you have time, read the Humanist Manifesto or how about “ Screwtape letters” if you haven’t yet? Find out how to get into such a messy, chaotic conundrum as we have now and see how, in a Godless society, easy it is. I haven’t subscribed to you guys yet, but I am going to now. Keep up the “good” work. Thanks so much.
